The Blooms- HAPPY NEW YEAR and Iris abstracts!!!

Happy New Year to ALL the readers of my blog! May this year bring loads of happiness and peace to the world ... and the world be free of nature's fury and manmade crimes. May God bless every living being on this Mother Earth with enough food, respectful life and peaceful sleep.

Few months ago, I had been to Nola Iris Garden in San Jose, California. I was attending a meetup event. Driving on the long winding roads to reach the place was a bit boring. But, at the garden I was greeted by colorful blooms swaying along with the moving wind. Such beauty one could forget rest of the world! The bearded iris blooms were in different colors ... These were much different from the wild ones ... much bigger and many pleasant colors. The sky wasn't co-operating ... sun was shining little too much with no clouds in the sky. So I resorted to macro photography!

There were pink, yellow, blue, white, lavender, orange and so many varieties ... It was difficult to choose which one and what? The beard, the frill, the color pattern and so on ... I could shoot whole day! The owner was a kind lady never objected my presence there for a long time.
