About Me

I travel because I love to travel. I travel because I have an intense inner compulsion to travel. I want to get out of the little self absorbed world we live in. Get out to meet unknown people of unknown lands, eat their cuisine, breathe that air and learn their culture and history. Well, when I asked few people in USA who had traveled around the world, about the exotic country they visited, the answer was INDIA. I thought its time to figure it out ... re-learn the things about my own country that I had taken for granted. Started a trip afresh ... backpacking in India

My dream is to see every inch of India, to step a foot in every continent and country, take a ride on the waters of every ocean and major rivers, and so on ... I took a break from career and trying to bring my dream to reality. I have realized how big is the world and our life is too short. But, I can do as much as possible.

I do not have a long list of countries that I have visited but, wherever I stepped my foot on I tried to create as much amazingly beautiful moments for me to remember. I am a big fan of National Parks and World Heritage sites- natural or otherwise. You will see many posts on wildlife and waterfalls photography.

This blog is definitely not to brag about me :) On my travels I met many interesting people, learned about their lives and what they left behind to travel around the world. There were inspiring stories, sad stories, fun stories and more. I met many women traveling alone like me. Some are more adventurous and some just play safe. Now with all the information and experience I have, I want to reach out to the world to spread the word - Women can travel solo and it is much more fun! In India, Asia, America, Europe or to any part of this beautiful world. It only takes a step ...

Well, I have a blog- that doesn't make me a 'travel expert' to give advice. That is why you don't see much of 'How to' and 'Top 10 list' articles here. I am a blogger who writes about personal experiences hoping to inspire people to break out of the shell they are living in and set themselves free to enjoy the world the way they want! I write about the destinations I visited with considerably beautiful photographs, for the readers to get inspired and plan well. I also write about my observations which I think might help you enjoy your trip better.

I strongly believe that- There is no right way or wrong way, everyone of us have our own way of doing things. Live it to the fullest!

Now that you have done some of the backpackin across india project... what do you say about safety concerns?

Lovely work....I appreciate the fact that your blog is more about sharing your personal experiences rather than serving as a travel guide...travel tips are available on the net at the click of a mouse, yet it is the personal travel experiences of fellow travelers which a makes a blog special.
